RARE Classic 1973 Mark1 Ford Escort Panel Van for sale.
Currently registered to April 2012.
She drives well but sadly won’t pass roadworthy without major work, needs complete rebuild of front end, brakes, etc.
Body has rust and some beginning in chassis. Windscreen cracked on front passenger side, new tyres 6 months ago. It had a 2nd hand motor in about 7 years ago. Is a1600 engine and has 4-speed gear box.
She's been a great runabout for the last 12 years. Has just kept running without fail. Very little spent on her which is now showing. Very sad to see her go. Have done plenty of camping in as has a built-up bed with storage underneath. Has been used by a friend for the last 6 years and not maintained as needed, also housed outside so unfortunately has acquired a lot of rust.
Would be ideal for someone very keen to fix up otherwise will be good as second car for spare parts.
