Leading a tight, professional team, reporting to the Owner Opportunity to learn and gain leadership experience Designing and creating a seasonal menu Bar Idda is a popular and busy restaurant open for dinner service 7 nights per week. With a focus on traditional Sicilian dishes, the ideal candidate for Head Chef must have experience in Italian cuisine and be knowledgeable in current dining trends and modern cooking methods. Working closely with the Owner we seek an energetic and passionate chef to design creative and unique dishes with a focus on seasonal and local ingredients. These traits are essential as the menu changes quarterly to reflect our passion for fresh and seasonally appropriate produce. You must also have experience in budgeting food and labour costs. Leadership experience is essential as you will be working autonomously to guide a small kitchen. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role as a Head Chef in a busy venue. This role is full time, requiring a commitment of approximately 0 hours per week. Must be available to work nights and weekends. The position is available immediately, however the start date is negotiable.
